SWATCH REVIEW: MAC BAKING BEAUTIES COLLECTION

The MAC Cosmetics limited edition Baking Beauties collection is filled with fun pastel shades & adorable packaging. We saw the press release for this collection & absolutely fell in love – anything cupcake related & we are sold! We couldn’t wait to try out the nail lacquer – 3 pretty Spring shades.

Bleu Velvet: Well, we love the name. Because it instantly made us think of

this &
this. This polish may not be named after David Lynch or Lana Del Rey, but the colour was so beautiful – a perfect name. This polish is a light periwinkle blue cream shade, with a purple undertone. We used 2 coats for the pictures below for full coverage.

Confectionary: This light pink cream polish has a blue undertone, giving it a cool-hued look. This polish was a little on the sheer side. We used 3 coats of the pictures below.

Pistachio Crème: Pass the ice-cream, the light teal mint screams chocolate chip mint in a bowl! We used 3 coats for the pictures below. This was our favourite shade of the collection. A great mint/teal pastel shade is always necessary for warmer months.

We really love creative for this collection – so whimsical and delicious! What shades were your favourite? Will you be picking up any of the MAC Baking Beauties collection? The MAC Baking Beauties collection is available now in North America & May 2013 International. Nail Lacquers are available for $19/0.34 fl oz.
