DIY Holiday Dog Toy

If you are in need of an easy DIY for your pupster this year, you have come to the right place. This easy holiday dog toy is adorable, inexpensive, and Coco Bean approved. Plus it fits perfectly in a stocking and doesn’t require any wrapping – it already looks like a wrapped gift!
Just a few simple steps and you can check this ‘made with love’ gift off your list. Woo!
Materials
Holiday Fabric
Ribbon
Stuffing
Squeaker (Optional)
Scissors
Hot Glue & Glue Gun
Tutorial
1. Lay your fabric out on a flat surface. Fold the sides inwards a few inches so you now have a tall skinny rectangle. Place two lines of hot glue closer to the middle of the fabric (see step by step photo for detailed placement).
2. Fold the top and bottom inwards so that your fabric is now a square. Press gently to secure the glue.
3. Gather a medium size ball of stuffing and place it in the center of your square. If using a squeaker, be sure it is wrapped inside the ball of stuffing. To determine if you have too much or too little stuffing, do a test roll. If you are unable to roll it without the stuffing peaking through, then you have too much. If it doesn’t look plush, then add a little more.
4. With your ball of stuffing still in the center of your square, draw a line of hot glue about an inch from the right edge of your square (see step by step photo for detailed placement). Grab the left side of the square and begin to roll the fabric tightly around the stuffing and securing it to the line of glue.
5. You should now have a nice little roll! You can adjust your stuffing through the sides if needed. Garnish and secure with a ribbon on both ends with tight double knots and a bows. Feel free to add a dab of hot glue between your knots and bows for an extra hold.
