Wembley the French Bulldog Puppy by Frame Your Pet

If there’s one thing I know for sure, getting a professional photography session with your dog results is something you will treasure forever.

While there will come a day when their paws won’t patter down your hall, beautiful photos will ensure they will forever live on in your home.

This beautiful session by Frame Your Pet was a special family gift…and really, could you ask for anything sweeter?

From Alicia Rius of Frame Your Pet:

This session was a Maternity Gift from the new mom to be’s sister.

In my session consultation I always ask: Why do you want Frame Your Pet to take photos of your pet? What’s the special occasion?

The answer was simple. Wembley’s mom and her sister were raised with a Rottweiler. They spent 12 years together and then he passed away leaving no trace.

The family had no photos at all. Just a few on their cell phones when he was a senior (which are bad for printing) and some others taken with an old analog camera. Photos that didn’t capture his true personality neither his most memorable moments. They had no good photos at all as a family.

This time, they didn’t want to make the same mistake and they thought that a Lifestyle Dog Photography session would make the perfect gift to celebrate these two big events: the arrival of Wembley in the family and the future arrival of their son Marcus.

The session went great. Wembley made us laugh so much between breaks of chewing things. Being only 4 months he still had that urge to chew!

The funniest moment of all was when we was chewing Marcus future baby shoes. I wanted to have a very cute shoot of Wembley’s paws next to Marcus’ shoes but that didn’t happen. He couldn’t help himself and started to chew them badly. It was so spontaneous and so adorable that I just kept taking photos (I think I have like 50 of them!). And as you can see, he was having the time of his life.

Puppies aren’t easy to photograph. They are tiny, they spent most of the time tumbling around, ignoring all commands and sleeping 24/7.

However, Wembley was the most amazing puppy model I ever had.

Yes, he is tiny. Yes, he was tumbling around. Yes, he totally ignored us. But somehow, he was able to give me some sort of shoots (I guess the tasty dog treats were the key, so I can’t take credit for it!).

Another factor that helped me to have tons of different photos was the beautiful home they have: lots of abundant natural light and a gorgeous and very modern home decor. Lots of white with red accents were perfect to enhance Wembley’s beauty and shining personality.

The result? A beautiful collection of photos that show Wembley’s puppy personality.

Photos that they will treasure forever.

ABOUT FRAME YOUR PET

Animals and photography have always been part of my life since I was a kid. My dad and aunt were avid photographers and me, I was the crazy kid bringing home all sorts of animals.
When I grow up I pursued a BA in Advertising and a MA in International Marketing. But I never felt fulfilled until I quit my job to start working as a full time animal photographer.
My passion for animals has pushed me to explore their beauty and uniqueness while capturing an elusive mood of the animal’s personality and expressions.
