january highlights.

Okay, friends – we’ve officially got one month of 2015 under our belts. Can you believe it? I still feel like it should be September, so I’m not really sure where time has gone or why every single month seems to fly past faster than the last.

Anyway, January was a big month around these parts since we made the big move from Chicago to San Francisco at the beginning of the month. I’d be totally lying if I told you everything was perfect and amazing though – among the highlights there has been plenty you haven’t seen: tons of moving boxes, a messy and unorganized apartment, a lack of furniture, etc. etc. The list goes on and I’m all about keeping it real; moving sucks and long distance moving can be completely crazy.

Now that we’ve gotten that disclaimer out of the way, let’s take a peek at some of those highlights

Starting off 2015 with my favorite guy and some of our best friends
Sending out little New Year’s cards with our new address thanks to Artifact Uprising
The most amazing (and indulgent) goodbye dinner at Bavette’s
A one way ticket from ORD to SFO
Soaking up the sunshine and year round iced coffee weather
Weekend exploring that led to us stumbling upon a pretty familiar house
Long dog walks that usually end up by the Bay
The movers arriving sooner than expected & delivering some prized possessions
Date night in our neighborhood with dinner at Marlowe
Coffee with the Moderne Press PR team and their killer Framed Matted gallery wall
Stopping to enjoy sunset views from our rooftop
A weekend hike around the Sutro Baths
San Francisco’s charm just doesn’t get old with its beautiful homes
Discovering my newest obsession: Smitten Ice Cream #sogood
Testing out some new Yes To products and loving their coconut line
Finally getting to meet Andi for drinks among the quirky decor of Hotel Zetta
Swinging by Warby Parker for a little party and scoping out new glasses
