POPSUGAR Must Have Box for February 2015!
My " target="_blank">POPSUGAR Must Have Box for February arrived! I always look forward to my POPSUGAR boxes–they have the best mix of beauty, fashion, food, fitness, home, etc. I LOVE the eclectic mix of goodies I receive every month and this month was even better than usual! It has a Valentine’s theme (duh) but all the products can be used year round.
The first thing I opened was the ACME Party Box Company Bamboo Heart Cutting Board & Cheese Knife – Value $32. This is sooo cool. It’s an exclusive item made just for POPSUGAR. I have a new house and it doesn’t have a pull out cutting board! Did they quit making them and no one told me? Anyway I’ve been using this crummy plastic thing I hate so I’m thrilled to have a real cutting board with a real cheese knife!! I love cheese and crackers and snack on them often so I will get a LOT of use from this, plus it looks so nice and presentable for a party. Yay!
There were lots of beauty products in this month’s box and that makes me happy
Tarte Cosmetics Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in True Love – Value $26 - tarte describes this as a watermelon shade and yes, that’s pretty close. As with all the Amazonian Clay blushes, this is extremely pigmented, über long lasting and a beauty blogger favorite (myself included). True Love imparts a lovely health flush to the cheeks!
Figs & Rouge 100% Natural Balm in Wild Cherry – Value $8 (flavor may vary) - I love old fashioned looking things and the packaging on this is so cute! But that’s not all folks–this cute tin houses some very nice lip balm. The consistency is good, it smells nice (not too overpowering) and it has lots of shine!
POPSUGAR has THE best snacks and I really like getting to taste something new every month. I got G.H. Cretors Chicago Mix popcorn (cheese & caramel corn) in one box and I am seriously addicted now. I had to go online and order because I can’t find it in my town! Anywho, I think I may be heading the down the same path with this Chuao Chocolatier Ravishing Rocky Road Bar - Value $6. It has the typical Rocky Road ingredients– milk chocolate, marshmallows, and salted caramelized almonds. I’m drooling! What’s not to love???
Bauble Bar Mini Arrow Pendant Necklace – Value $32 (metal may vary)- I am a huge fan of Baublebar (read my review here) so when I saw that black bag, I was excited! This very delicate arrow necklace with pave crystals was the treasure inside the bag–I’m glad I got the gold. Make no mistake–it is VERY small but still pretty. I like delicate jewelry and it will look so cute this layered with longer necklaces too.
U.S. Apothecary Rose Water Bubble Bath – Value $30 Beautifully packaged, this rose scented bubble bath is vegan, 98% natural, and made with organic rose water. I love taking a warm, relaxing bath during the cold winter months and this will be perfect for that. It also makes a wonderful gift for that hard-to-by-for female in your life. Isn’t the nostalgic packaging pretty?
Finally what would February be without some red? Sally Beauty FingerPaints Nail Color in Expressionist Red (color may vary)– Value $5.50 This is a special extra in this month’s box. I haven’t tried it yet, but it’s supposed to cover in one coat–awesome!
Bottom Line: the POPSUGAR Must Have Box for February really blew me away. It has a value of over $140 and is so well curated!! I honestly love everything in it–I think they did a great job with the Valentine’s theme and yet everything can be used every day. A LisaSugar!
