Holidays are coming: Yankee advent calendar
For some people it's the first slurp of a gingerbread latte. For others it's the soft jingle of bells over the tannoy in their local supermarket. And for others it's the familiar sight of the Coca-Cola lorry (anyone seen the advert yet?) Everyone has a moment when they start getting excited about Christmas.
Ever since I was a little girl, that moment was when my granny presented me with an enormous chocolate advent calendar. I still remember the daily excitement of waking up, running over to my calendar, popping open the little cardboard window and devouring the chocolate inside.
In later years, the novelty of an advent calendar has dwindled a little, that is until Yankee Candle came on the scene. A quick whizz through their Facebook app confirmed that I'm definitely a 'Christmas past' kind of girl, so this gorgeous advent calendar, complete with daily scented tea lights in scents like 'candy cane lane', 'sugared apple' and 'christmas cookie' is right up my street. I can't wait to start filling my house with the delicious smells of Christmas!
