1602 possibility

i have the opportunity to get TWO 1602 machine with motors from a local source.
never having had a superba/white machine what are my cautions? i have heard the belts can go in the scanning box and the fuses too (are they available for replacement?) but it seems beyond that, the machines would be sturdy. it’s a dealer who is reducing their space and says they are near new in box but he knows nothing about the brand as the last time they sold them only one person really knew the machine and they have passed away since. the deal sounds great, but what to be on the lookout for? don’t want “boat anchors” and can’t afford this money if they will end up being unusable for patterned knitting.
i know MKing, i have four other japanese machines, but the idea of a 1602 for two color jacquard and pile knitting is REALLY tempting…
