facing fears. and a good laugh.

those who know me, know i'm afraid of horses. like i-would-like-to-scream-hysterically-and-run-for-my-life scared.

but i have a sweet 11-year old who adore horses. sweet trick of the universe huh?!

and so it happened that my lovely employee @deniseromyn let Sanne take a ride on her horse. i took pictures, from a save distance...

and then i thought about facing fears and how tough my little cookie was. i was able to touch Mel (20 year old and honestly sweet horse). after watching Sanne ride her for 1 hour i felt less fear . i felt i could do this. sanne's eyes confinced me to try. to show my girl i do face my fears. like i always tell her to do so. but now i was able to show her. look at me!! i am on a freaking horse!!

why Denise is laughing so hard?! i told her repeatedly "go slowly!! go very very slowly!!" that sweet Mel was almost standing still, so slowly she was walking.

but hey! that's me. riding that horse! ‪

and because you need a good laugh. this is me 'taking off'. bwahahahahaha.
