Kickstarter: Affordable, Cool Things of the Week
Today is my day off and I’ve been enjoying the morning with some carmel hot chocolate, cat pjs, and catching up on some blogs! One of the sites that I like to browse when I’m wasting time on the internet (in addition to Pinterest, Reddit, and Bloglovin’ of course) is Kickstarter, a website where you can fund unique projects in exchange for either goods or recognition. I love to see the types of ideas and goods that other creative people have come up with, and occasionally I’ll even fund one, provided it’s not too expensive! Usually people and companies will offer large discounts on the first productions of products, so Kickstarter is a great place to browse for deals on pieces you can’t find at your regular shopping center. Here are some really neat things that are currently available for funding this week, all for $10 or less!
Kaleidograms are a collaboration of postcards and kaleidoscopes to create unique, interactive cards. By moving the two pieces you reveal two different messages, perfect for adding a colorful touch to someone’s day. So… Many… Sketchbooks! is a a 52-page book containing Renée Kurilla’s favorite sketches pulled from 12 sketchbooks she’s filled in the past 2 years.
