So first thing to obviously register before I launch into Paris, The Runway Rose has a new look! Thank you to the gorgeous Steph from Bonjour Belle for doing my perfect blog design. If you're thinking of getting a blog makeover then definitely check her design site here, she was so accommodating to my fussy needs and does the most beautiful designs.

So, down to the nitty gritty, I've just returned from five fabulous days in Paris with my lovely boyfriend so I'll be documenting every day in post form over the next week or so, starting now with day number one. So it started early in the morning with a hop on to the Eurostar which was pretty novel for me- travelling by train overseas?! Crazy crazy times (only if you're a massive Eurostar virgin like myself). We found our way to our stunning apartment, which I forgot to photograph (doh!) and headed out to the beautiful Place du Concorde and the Louvre to see a very large abundance of paintings and sculpture, including the Mona Lisa although my view was somewhat compromised.....see below. We then sampled some delectable French cuisine in an incredibly cute restaurant followed by a moonlit walk by le Tour Eiffel...oh so romantic.

Not a lot to be said for my outfit as it it was all about comfort for travel but I did just happen to be sporting my favourite blouse of the moment. I'll leave you with a few snaps from the day....

And finally.... my 'view' of the Mona Lisa.
