Downpour

(After getting rained on...)Wool-mix PU detail coat & PU trousers- Miss Selfridge, crew neck t-shirt- American Apparel, suede wedges- Office, neon belt- H&M, leather bracelet- Margiela (eBay), thumb rings- Algerian marketThis is what I wore for day two of London Fashion Week, after regretting the lack of layers on day one. More (p)leather... yep, I cant get enough! I also cant get enough of neon details added to (otherwise) minimal colour palettes. Its a shame the vibrancy of the belt is lost through the lens. With regards to the lack of other colours, the strange thing is- most other days- when I dont find the time to photograph my looks, Im wearing silk trousers, bright knits & printed shoes... must make more of a conscious effort to upload those looks. This coat is a recent find; wool-mix with a PU collar & forearms. A great transitional piece, as its warm enough to ease me into Winter, and light enough to not break a sweat running through the city to catch the last train (which I end up doing more often than Id like!).Back to LFW though, on the agenda for day two was Jaeger and John Rocha, as well as a few of the exhibition tents. Id upload catwalk shots from the former, but ninety percent of the photos feature a guest appearance from the top of Olivia Palermos head. Ill do a post on the show though, as there were a couple features from the collection that Im keen to talk about! Until then, Ill leave you with the soundtrack to the Rocha show- which had me wanting to take to the sea and live life as a sea-nymph (more on that later!).Do Your Best- John MausLove Out of Lust- Lykke Li
