Weekend Wear Explained

Correct me if I’m wrong (I’m not), but what you wear on a Saturday night has less to do with Saturday night’s activity and more to do with what you have to wear Monday through Friday. When I was in law school, I wore jeans a lot and was generally pretty casual, so even a simple movie date on the weekend was an excuse to put on a cute dress. But now that I wear skirts and dresses to work most days, by Saturday I’m excited to put on some jeans or leggings.

Naturally, I spiff ‘em up with some killer heels, fancy earrings, and my new monogrammed Gigi New York clutch I got for Christmas. I’m just fancy like that, no matter the day.
