on Tuesdays we wear tartan.

I’ve come to realize I have an affinity for all things plaid/tartan/flannel this time of year. So when I saw this adorbs shirt go on sale at J.Crew over the weekend, I had to snag it – well, that and a few other necessities. Have you ever wondered what the difference is between plaid and tartan? I googled. And apparently “plaid” doesn’t even refer to a pattern, but rather an article of clothing (click here if you want to learn everything you’ve ever wanted to know about the difference – maybe even a bit more).

All I know is, I discovered Classy Girls Wear Pearls over the weekend and feel like I don’t have enough of either in my wardrobe.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) also happens to be NYE and I’ll likely be sporting some tartan, again (can we make this a “thing”?), since we’re staying in this year. But I hope you all have a very happy (and safe!) celebration. Until next year, friends!
