This November 2013 BeautyBox was filled with an odd selection of products if you ask me. The card talks about the perfect look for the upcoming holidays and yet it was filled with nothing that amazed me, so no hugely amazing box this month.

This mask is free of Parabens, Solphates and Thalates and is not tested on animals which is very good. But I see no change whatsoever. It felt nice (even though the bits in it are weird), but there is no change in fine lines or anything. So this mask really isn’t worth the money!

- Majic Beauty – Eye Majic (1 pad = €1,45) (7 pads full size = €9,95)
The card tells me this is the first complete eyeshadow application without using a brush, I don’t think this is true, I’ve seen other brands launch these type of applicators and they’ve always failed. The idea is amazing, you get a complete eyelook within 10 seconds which sounds really great, but seriously, these pads have one shape, do you know two people who have the same eyeshape? No, which means that it can look somewhat okay on one person and horrible on the next, also there is no blending between the colours of these applicators and the colours they have are horrible. Another thing, if you’re new to makeup, you’re going to have to do the magical thing of applying them exactly the same way on both eyes, even though your eyes are twins and not identical, so it will look different on each eye. I think this is a horrible idea, but Nicole liked the idea, so I gave them to her to try out. I’ll hear from her how she likes them next year.

- Toni & Guy – Dry Shampoo (sample) (250 ml fullsize = €11,99)
Directions for use:
Spray directly at the roots to create day 2 volume and freshness. To add texture and volume to flat, fine hair or to make freshly washed, fly-away hair more manageable spray over dry hair from root to tip and work through with fingers or a brush. Advanced formula leaves no white residue.

Dry shampoos have been used by professional hairstylists for years, not only because it adds volume, but also because it gives grip to the hair when creating hairstyles. Another thing which is all in the name is the fact that it absorbs grease and oils, so it’s a great way to make your hair clean and smell nice before a party.

I love using this every other day, I use this as a shampoo, because I work out 6 days a week but don’t shampoo my hair everyday, I use this to make it clean on the days I did work out but don’t wash my hair. I also love using it on friends or clients when I have to make an updo out of freshly washed hair.

- BeautyUK – Glam Nails (9 ml full size = €3,50) (colour Red – No. 8)
The BeautyUK vision is to make high quality makeup that is trendy and also afordable. The red I got is one of their bestsellers and I think I know why, it’s a warm red which has a high shine finish, easy application and the colour is opague in 2 coats without a higely long drying time. I do have a few bubbles popping up though. It lasted 3 days on me which is pretty good.

- BeautyUK – Posh Pout (3.7 gram full size = €4,50) (colour: No. 5 – Corally Incorrect)

Another exciting addition to their POSH range. This lip balm is available in 6 new fabulous shades or perfecting pout power! These funky, chunky lip crayons shade the lips with a moisture rich, long lasting punch of vibrant colour!

This mint flamoured moisutising twist-up tinted lip balm feels nice on the lips but I wouldn’t call it a lipbalm, I know they call this one because of moisturizing properties, but I really don’t think that wearing this in the winter instead of a nice heardy lipbalm is enough to protect your lips. But it really does feel nice and wears of nicely. It doesn’t last extremely long, but I didn’t expect that.
