Minutes after these photos were taken, it started hailing! We had just finished taking two car loads over to the new apartment and were leaving when we had to run through the rain and hail. There is something magical about a clear, blue sky closing up for a downpour! Luckily, we had plans for brunch and catching up on Saturday Night Live for the rest of the afternoon. I am so in love with rainy days.

Speaking of being in love, I might be the only one, but I am in love with this shaggy carpet of a jacket. True story, I did refer to this jacket to explain what kind of area rug I would love to have in our new bedroom.

Our moving process is coming along, slowly but surely. We have almost three weeks of overlap on the two apartments, which my bank account is hating rent wise, but is actually really great regarding the physical moving. We are doing it alone, because let’s be honest, no one wants to help their friends move and we would like to stay within the good graces of our small, but amazing, group of friends. So little by little, we have been carrying boxes and bags down two flights of stairs and filling up our cars for the one mile drive over to the new apartment. We are hoping to be completely moved in at the end of next weekend. Then the dreaded unpacking begins!

So I am going to take advantage of this cooler weather here in LA and go find as many outfits as possible to add this coat too. The more people question my sanity when they see me wear it, the deeper in love I fall!
