Buttero Update the Carrera Running Sneaker with Reverse-Seam Suede

Buttero update their signature Carrera running silhouette with rich suede in four colorways. Bright red, dark grey “anthracite,” tobacco brown and a mustardy “topaz” make up the uppers for the new Spring/Summer 2015 shoe, constructed with reversed seams that are exposed to make the shoes look richly textural. With squared leather laces finishing them off, it’s hard to imagine these as actual running sneakers, but their Vibram Vi-Lite Gloxinia Cut soles promise to be as light and flexible as they seem.

As always with Buttero, the shoes are handcrafted in Italy. You can shop them for $435.
