Green Smoothie Recipe

This really is the most delicious green smoothie recipe and the combination will make you completely forget that you’re getting your greens! It’s filled with a ton of tropical flavors from the coconut water and the pineapple and by adding some avocado the consistency is perfectly smooth and just so yummy. I like to make this as often as a I can because it is the perfect way to start your day. Get all of the details below…

The ingredients

1 1/2 cups coconut water
1 celery stalk
1/2 cup frozen spinach {you could also use regular spinach}
1 cup of kale {all of the leaves from one stalk}
1/2 – 1 cup of pineapple {you could also use frozen}
the juice of half of a lemon
1/2 of an avocado
a handful of ice

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until mixed together and smooth! Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy! This makes enough for two people to have a good size smoothie.
