Beautiful room décor from Photos.com

I love decorating our home. I wish we had more space (and more $$) because I could turn our home into something beautiful. Don’t get me wrong, our home is very nice. I just know I could make it better.

A couple of years ago we put our condo on the market. We were told by our agent to remove all photos and artwork on the walls, that way a potential buyer could envision their photos and artwork on the walls.

I went along with that because I wanted to sell our home, but it did drive me nuts. I hate looking at blank walls.

I am a very visual person and I envision things to be a certain way. All the things we had on the walls were put there for a reason. Having to look at blank walls every day was not a pleasant experience for me.

We packed up all our photos, artwork and knick knacks and brought them to my father’s basement upstate (we have no more room in our storage room).

To make a long story short we did sell our condo and made an offer (which was accepted) on another home. Things eventually fell through (compliments of the mortgage broker who fed us misinformation) and we ended up not moving. That was almost two years ago. Our stuff is STILL in storage in my father’s basement. We moved up so much stuff that we can’t find things. Some boxes are labeled, but most are not.

Slowly I have trying to find things to put on our walls so I didn’t have to look at blank walls anymore.

I’ve been picking up a lot of canvas prints because I can hang the up with small tacks and not have to put more holes in the wall. So far it has been working out beautifully.

Did you know you can buy iconic images, as well as others, off Photos.com? Photos.com features images from Getty Images. Getty Images is renowned for their premium stock photography and videos that cover news, sports, celebrities and world events.

You can purchase famous images such as Muhammad Ali, Marilyn Monroe and Roger Moore (James Bond), you can also purchase photos from famous photographers such as Ansel Adams, Margaret Bourke-White and David Redfern.

You can browse photos by subject matter, photographer, color, room, styles and so forth. This will help you narrow down the photos to help you find the perfect one. You can also do a search for specific subject matter.

One of my favorite places is Grand Teton National Park. Photos.com has pages upon pages of photos you can purchase from Grand Teton National Park.

I love landscape photos. I spent hours – literally – going through all the breath taking landscape photos to find one I thought would make a perfect addition to our home. I finally picked out this image.

I’m sorry that the photos are not the best. They don’t do this photo justice. It’s hanging in our bathroom and I am unable to step away from it enough to take a good head on photo. I have to take photos from an angle.

Check out the amazing detail of the canvas print and the stunning colors. It’s truly beautiful. I gaze at it every day. It’s on the wall behind the medicine cabinet so when I look in the mirror I see the print behind me.

I opted for a canvas print because I like how they look like they are popping out of the wall. Plus I like that I can hand them up with a tack or two and not leave big holes in the wall.

Canvas prints are also an affordable way to make an impact on your walls, plus they won’t break like photos in glass frames can do it accidentally dropped, knocked or hit. Canvas is also a cheaper option to framed prints.

You CAN purchase photos from Photos.com in frames. EVERY photo is available in canvas, paper, aluminum, acrylic and birchwood. Photos are available in multiple sizes so you can find the perfect photo to suit your needs.
