Nickelodeon’s Blaze and the Monster Machines: Blaze of Glory on DVD February 17, 2015

My kids are teenagers so I am not always on top of popular children’s shows like I used to be. I do work with little kids so every now and then I learn about a new television show/series from them.

Sometimes my husband and I will flick around the television channels and stop on a show we have never heard of before just to check it out. Children’s shows are so much different then the ones my kids used to watch when they were little.

Nickelodeon has a new series that I know my son would have gone crazy for if he was still little. It’s called Blaze and the Monster Machines. Have you seen or heard of this series before? I bet this is a popular show with little boys – and some little girls too (I was very much a “Tom boy” when I was little).

Nickelodeon is releasing on DVD today (February 17, 2015) it’s first Blaze and the Monster Machines. Here is some additional information;

Nickelodeon’s new preschool series, Blaze and the Monster Machines, makes its DVD debut with Blaze and the Monster Machines: Blaze of Glory. The first preschool show on TV to feature an in-depth STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) curriculum, Blaze and the Monster Machines follows the adventures of the amazing monster truck Blaze and his eight-year-old driver AJ. The DVD features the hour-long series premier episode, “Blaze of Glory,” plus a special bonus episode. Created by Nickelodeon and distributed by Paramount Home Media Distribution, Blaze and the Monster Machines: Blaze of Glory arrives on DVD on Feb. 17, 2015 for the suggested retail price of $14.99.

About Blaze and The Monster Machines
In Blaze and the Monster Machines, monster truck Blaze and his driver AJ have adventures that explore the physics of how things move; tackle problems through scientific inquiry and mathematics; and discover the parts needed to make everyday technologies work. Each action-packed episode is filled with monster trucks, physical humor and upbeat original songs with lyrics that highlight a STEM concept such as adhesion, friction, force, trajectory and magnetism..

Blaze and the Monster Machines: Blaze of Glory DVD includes:
“Blaze of Glory” – – Blaze and AJ are introduced to a world of racing monster machines in the town of Axle City. When Crusher, a troublemaker truck, uses his dirty tricks to try to win the championship race, Blaze does everything he can to help his friends and beat him to the finish line.

“The Driving Force” (Bonus Episode) – When Starla, the friendly cowgirl truck, loses one of her pistons Blaze and AJ set out to get it back. But they’ll have to hurry before Crusher gets his greedy tires on it.

The DVD has a run time of 68 minutes and a suggested retail price of $14.99.

Look for this new DVD where ever DVDs are sold.

Is your child or grandchild a fan of the new series? I’d love to hear your thoughts about it.
