Friday Links 02/05

This week has gone in a blur. Yesterday was a holiday so I stayed in bed reading blogs until noon, then went out to try and be funny on stage afterwards. I read from my old teenage diaries, which was an idea I’d had the night before and didn’t know if it’d work. But it seemed to, so that was great. It’s probably the last time I’m going to be able to do comedy in Frankfurt because of the play that I’m in taking over my life.

The tickets for the play are available now. If you’re in Frankfurt then come and see us! It’s called La Ronde and it’s about sexy things. There is no nakedness, but my colleague and good friend may or may not grope my boob.

Linkies!

Firstly, I totally forgot to say that last week I had an interview on the site Multi Cool! It was really fun to do so I hope you go and read it!

Do you have an iPhone? Have a go at this scientific experiment to track your happiness. I can’t use it – I’m Andriod, but if any of you use this I’d love to know what you think! I heard about it on a TED podcast.

A big reader? Here’s a site that can help recommend you books similar to those you’ve read. (Thanks Sean!)

Winnie the Pooh – Means Girls crossovers? Yes please! (Again…Sean?)

I discovered a great expat blogger in Rome this week. Here is her hilarious look at the Italian postal service.

City etiquette. I was writing a post verrrrry similar to this but…these gifs just do it better. So that’s my post gone (boo for people being awesome!) (Thanks Yaron!)

Speaking Denglish discusses Germans and their house shoes. Very, very German!

Yunha Kim explains what she learnt from her first year being a CEO.

It’s always fun writing about my life here in Germany but here’s a great post from a German girl in London.

My friend has a job at Uniqlo in Berlin! Hopefully Frankfurt will get one soon!

This aquarium in Guam looks so lovely! I just love aquariums so if I ever went to Guam, this would be at the top of my list.

I have found my new favourite blog and it’s called Red Lemonade. Here’s a post from her about ridiculous anti-contraception people who mailed her.

This Hello Giggles report about a new cat cafe in New York makes me happy because – cats!!! but also it reminds me of the hours I spent in queues in New York waiting for shows. Ahhhhh.

This vegan food in Sweden looks sooo yummy!

If you’ve been to Hokkaido, Japan, and would like to share your photos and experiences, then check out my friend Dan’s blog.

Have a great Friday!
