Bathtub Selfies
If I were a candy, I’d be cinnamon bears. or spice drops. If I were a drink, I’d be coffee. or Diet Coke. If I were an outfit, I’d be this one: sweatshirt, high heels and skinny jeans. or sweatpants.
Here’s what I wore one night in Vegas when I finally crawled out of my compression gear:
*The Joie striped sweatshirt I bought on sale; here’s a couple different striped options from Joie: sweater, scoop neck tee, sailor stripe long sleeve. I love love love this sweater but ooh that price.
*If I’m dressed, I have a tank top on. I am always wearing one, I just don’t feel dressed without a tank top layer on first. I’m wearing a longer black on here; I think it’s from American Apparel but I’m not sure. I also like Hinge jersey tanks and Maidenform makes a great affordable “suck it in” Spanx-like tank that I have in multiple colors.
*The Bernardo leather jacket is from Nordstrom; I bought it during the Anniversary sale. Here are two similar options but very pricey. (1,2) I love leather jackets and have a collection, probably 6-7? My husband makes fun of our coat closet because it’s all leather moto jackets.
*And the jeans. I rarely buy anything full price: I’ll wait until it goes on sale, buy last season, shop at a discount store, etc. And with jeans, who can tell if you’re wearing this season’s, last seasons, Mom jeans, ya know? But I saw these Anine Bing zippered skinnies on a few different fashion blogs and just loved the look of them so I bit the bullet and bought them.
I read that the sizing is similar to J Brand jeans – but I can go between two sizes and I bought the bigger of the two and they are still very tight. So if you’re thinking about getting a pair, you might want to go up a size. I’m still not sure if I love them enough to justify the price, but I do like them and I think the zipper at the ankle is fun and something different.
*The DVF shoes are my favorite; I own them in three different colors and the black is on sale right now at Neiman Marcus. They’re really comfortable, and I know this pretty little thang just bought a pair.
