Pop to It!: Maple-cayenne popcorn

This popcorn was gone in a flash. If you’d like to slow yourself down, try offering this up with a bowl of nuts and dried cranberries on the side. Or just try not to be a snack monster like I am.

  • 1/2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon flaky salt
  • 1-2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 6 cups popped plain popcorn

Melt the butter and maple syrup together until just warmed. Drizzle the syrup mixture over the popcorn.

While tossing the popcorn with you hands, sprinkle with the salt and cayenne pepper until all the popcorn is coated.

Makes 6 cups.
