✿ MAJOLICA MAJOLICA : The little humming book IV ✿Highlighter

Majolica Majolica is a japanese make up brand that is targeted to young ladies, which explains why the packaging are very girly and have a jewel inspired packaging for most of the line. The Little Humming book IV is such a beautiful product for its packaging, I got intrigued when I spotted it in Sasa and thought it may be a eye shadow palette. To my surprise, it was instead a highlighter. Even more intriguing then, since I have never tested an highlighter from this brand.

The packaging is just adorable, set like a story book, it contains music partition (I wonder if that's the correct one !), an illustration and the highlighter (obviously). I really enjoy all the details they put into the design, the pictures are beautiful and I like the engraved picture in the powder. The book is made of cardboard, so be careful not to get it wet.

The highlighter itself is pretty subtle, which I think is great if you are not so familiar with highlighter and you would like to try it. Also, I find it very suitable to everyday make up, especially if you are a student ! And to be honest, I would apply some to man if I were to do their make up too. The highlighter contains 5 different tones for you to mix, and it's up to you to go all out, and use all of them at once, or to pick and choose which you'd like to apply. Mainly I think this highlighter has a pearly, pale, and rosy tone. As for any highlighter, I like to apply it above my eyebrows, the tip of my nose, my cheek bones, upper lip and finally, to my chin.

As it is a very subtle highlighter, if you would like to have a more showing result, I would recommend to apply it before applying your lose powder, it will make the grasp of the highlight more efficient~
