All the sights in Berlin

It is possible to pack a lot into a three-day visit into a city, especially when you don't party and have an active brain. The city is so full of history, and it really resonates how much the city has changed and grown by going to places like the East Side Gallery, Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate. The whole place looked like a picture of autumn perfection.

I went to the Jewish Museum, which for the architecture alone is am experience. It took me over two hours to get through it and I rush slightly, so give it time and get the audio guide. The museum goes through Jewish history and culture. I would highly recommend it.
I went to two contemporary art museums, the Berlinische Museum and Hamburger Bahnhof. I really noticed a huge difference between contemporary art in Copenhagen/London versus Berlin, with a really big industrial darker feel to the German pieces I saw. Pro tip- if like me you go to three museums in three days, there is a special ticket offer for this. I did not realise this.
Walking around the city you can cover a lot of ground on foot and you can spot some great street art. Public transport is a bit confusing but once you figure it out, it is a fun way to travel, as you can have a great view sometimes. Like the U-Bahn to Warschauer Strasse crosses an amazing bridge with great views.
A public garden project, Prinzessingengarten on Prinzenstrasse 38 is home to some beautiful plantlife, a cafe and a shop. Get some herbs there.
I felt at home in Miol bar on Manteuffelsrasse. It looks like the kind of place where you can really dance. I wondered in like a drowned rat and sat alone with my beer, chatting to the charming bartender.
Be sure to get a Photoautomat picture, there are a number of booths dotted around the city. The best €2 you will spend.
Thanks Herta for being a wonderful hostess.
Here I am. Having a grand time in my friend's apartment.
