LMO Advertising Opens 4,400 Sq. Ft. Office at Silo Point

LMO Advertising, a full-service advertising agency head-quartered in Arlington, VA, opened a 4,400 sq. ft. office in Baltimore at Silo Point’s former condominium sales office in October. Formerly VIM Interactive, a small web design and development firm that joined forces with LMO in April 2013, the Baltimore office is growing fast and now makes up a large portion of the agency’s Digital Department. Since the move, the team has doubled in size and is getting ready to launch their new website in the coming weeks.

With its entire staff from the Baltimore area, the team is happy to have found a new home in Locust Point. “There were only six of us when we joined LMO, 11 of us when we moved, and now, there’s 21 of us. Not only were we excited to get into a bigger space, we all really enjoy the neighborhood and conveniences it brings – parking, McHenry Row, easy access to 95, and the sense of community that’s here,” said Sarah Jones, Community Manager for LMO.

Jones also noted that the team enjoys grabbing lunch and getting together after work at the many restaurants in the area. They also love their big open space at Silo Point as it works well with their collaborative work environment.

At the moment, LMO’s client base is mainly in the Washington, DC and Arlington, VA areas including Army National Guard, United States Coast Guard, Virginia Lottery, and Marriott International. They will be looking to incorporate more Baltimore clients this year.

Jones and LMO are also the organizers of Refresh Baltimore, a bi-monthly event usually held over at Federal Hill’s Betamore. The event is described as “a movement inspiring design, development, and progress” with a goal to “set the stage for sharp design and development professionals to share refreshing perspectives on their expertise and contribute to the momentum that is the Baltimore tech community.“

LMO is happy to be part of the growing technology scene in Baltimore. With their quick expansion, the Baltimore team needed “some serious talent” and was able to successfully accomplish almost all their hiring locally. “Baltimore is full of talent,” said Jones. “Luckily, we hardly had to relocate anyone. Everyone was already here, rooting for the birds and doing great things.”
