I was lucky enough to get a mini sampler sent from Olivine Atelier to test out and get an idea of all the different scents they offer in their beautiful line and, to be honest, I loved all of them!! That being said, each of them has a particular vibe and mood to it so one may be more suited to you than others. Read on to see which one is perfect for you
Olivine – The signature scent of it’s founder, Olivine smells distinctly of gardenia, but not in a bad way. Actually, it’s quite a light subtle scent and not overpowering in the slightest. Instead, it’s a lightly floral, soft, barely there scent with an underlying blend of musk. It’s described as a scent that will uplift and center you. Personally, I love this for days when I want to smell pleasant, but don’t want to wear anything strongly scented or bold. This is a lovely soft, subtle fragrance; perfect for people who want to smell nice, but maybe don’t normally wear perfume.
Amongst the Waves – If you read my review for the Love Salt Spray, then you’ll be happy to know that the lovely beach hair mist has a matching fragrance to go with it! It’s not exactly the same as the Love Salt Spray, but it’s very similar and they would definitely work together if you wanted to use/wear both. This is the embodiment of all things tropical, summertime, and beach. Ocean salt, black coconut, stargazer lily, waterlily, and tiger lily are blended with base notes of clean musk, tonka bean and Arabian sandalwood. To me, this fragrance encapsulates long summer days, beach girls, and ocean air. If you are a Cali girl or maybe you want to be one, this is the perfect scent for you! Oxley – Romantically named after the street in Australia where her husband grew up, the founder of Olivine describes this fragrance as “sexy, sultry, and warm…home…” White gardenia, night-blooming jasmine, are blended with base notes of vanilla, and African musk to create this scent. I personally love this scent for nights out as it definitely smells sexy, but still soft and lovely.
Full Regalia – Named after the founder’s grandfather’s racehorse whose name was Full Regalia, this scent is a blend of sweet vanilla, Egyptian jasmine, Moroccan red rose, musk, blackberry, and patchouli. It’s absolutely gorgeous, spicy, sweet, and sexy, but in a really timeless, mature kind of way. I feel like Oxley is a sexy scent, but it’s for the honeymoon phase. Full Regalia is that sexy, beautiful scent for those who’ve been married 20 years and still feel the spark.
More Than the Stars – The scent described as an encapsulation of all the love in the world, More Than the Stars is my favorite scent of them all! The blend includes almond, stargazer lily, soft gardenia, Egyptian musk, fresh sandalwood, vanilla, and Brazilian vetiver. It smells SO special to me. It’s sensual, sexy, and a little spicy. I just really love this one for some reason. It has a lot of depth to it and a uniqueness in the blend that I’m surprised I like.
Bluebird (NEW Limited Edition) – Described as “sheer, ethereal, and magical,” Bluebird is a lovely, pleasant scent that smells really happy, if that makes sense. It’s very uplifting and innocent, in a way. The blend includes blood orange, neroli, orange blossom, stargazer lily, French vanilla, and floral musk.
She Belongs There – This scent is the perfect fragrance to encourage a little more self-love, certainty, and femininity. It’s described in this way: “It’s amazing what happens when a woman realizes that wherever she is, wherever she goes, she’s perfect.” The blend includes gardenias, pikake, night-blooming jasmine and smoky vanilla for a fragrance that is both sweet and sexy. I love idea of this fragrance as well as it’s actual scent because what woman doesn’t want to feel more secure and satisfied with herself?
