I’ve been wanting to try out this Love Salt Spray from Olivine Atelier for ages and when I finally got the chance to test it out, I was psyched! This spray is everything I could want in a beach hair body mist type combination and then some. Really, it’s summertime encapsulated in a bottle so the name, Amongst the Waves, is definitely appropriate!

What I Love

I’m so impressed by this mist! First of all, it smells AMAZING. It’s called Love Salt Spray, the subtitle beneath the name is “Amongst the Waves,” and I’ll be completely honest: both are entirely appropriate. This is the stuff of dreams because it smells just like summertime. I am a southern California native and I can say with full confidence that this is a legit beach girl, beach hair mist. It smells like summer (walks like rain..lol JK) and really gives you effortless beach waves. Mist your body and skip perfume for the day because you will smell sweet and delicious! It smells very sweet and a bit tropical; kind of like a mix between cotton candy and coconuts. My boyfriend said I smelled like cake, if that’s any indication, but it’s not in the cupcake candle kind of way (because I don’t actually like that smell LOL). As a hair mist, it works wonders all on it’s own. All you have to do is spray it onto damp hair and let it dry naturally or dry hair that’s in a bun (leave up til dry) and Voilà! Instant beach hair with no crunch. You waves will look tousled, feel soft, and smell amazing. I’m pretty sold on this stuff, but don’t take my work for it. Try it for yourself. It’s really affordable at only $10 for the 2 Oz. or $24 for the 8 Oz. Personally, if you’re trying it, try the 2 Oz. as it will last you quite a long time, especially if you don’t use it everyday. My only warning is that once you try it, you might quickly need to upgrade as I find myself reaching for this over and over and I’ve only had it for a little over a week.
