Stripes + Toggle.

Happy Monday, friends! Hope you all had a great weekend. If you follow me on insta, then you know this… but mine was extremely food centric. I usually spend most of my weekend working on the blog and this weekend I did no such thing. Lots of brunching, lots of cooking! On Saturday I went to barre class and then had brunch at Good. I spent the day reading and cooking (I finished The Girl on the Train – so good. People are calling it the next Gone Girl and I can totally see that) and made bacon jam (post about that coming soon.) Yesterday was another brunch (this time at The Dutch) and an Oscars party. Whew! Now it’s back to work today.

This outfit is a favorite combination of mine. Stripes and a toggle coat. I bought the striped dress last year from Theory and it was such a good purchase… their dresses are always my favorite. The fit is always awesome and the pieces last for years.

And a funny one for good measure. I’ve been working on stepping up my outfit photo game a bit… but sometimes you just have to laugh at the ridiculousness of posing in the street. Blogging is awesome, but this part is sort of awful.
