The Sky's the Limit!

Hi there and welcome to Studio 5380 - thanks for stopping by! I'm playing along with the Distress Addicts Challenge going on over at the Lawnscaping Challenges Blog and I've got a fun card to share with you. This challenge is all about using Distress Inks, distressed edges, whatever you think of as "distressed"....

So, I pulled out the sweet Lawn Fawn "Blue Skies" stamp set and my brand spanking new "Abandoned Coral" Distress Ink, along with a few other Distress Inks and got busy...

Using some Ranger Watercolor paper I inked up my background using Broken China, Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers Distressed Inks. I splattered a few drops of water here and there to give a watercolor look to the inks.

I distressed the edges of my mat and added a bit of machine stitching. The hot air balloon was watercolored using the following Distress Inks: Abandoned Coral Mowed Lawn Dusty Concord Mustard Seed Picked Raspberry
The tiny little hearts are from the Bugs and Kisses die set and they were watercolored with the Abandoned Coral Distress Ink.
