Hmmm…. Which is Worse

Actually, wait, we’re focusing on all the positives over here, so maybe this should be “which is better”? Ha.

I’m off running for one more week and then if things are good I can start to “test the water”. We’ll see. I’m going to try to not think about it. A week is short. It’s already almost been three, what’s one more right? It gives me some extra resting and healing time and goodness knows I still need that.

Anyhoo……

I’ve been on this kick lately of steaming broccoli in the microwave pretty much every night. It’s easy, there’s no mess and broccoli can go with just about anything.

You’d think after a couple weeks of this happening that the family would get used to it, but I’m not sure they are yet. They’ll eat it, but there’s always a comment like “what smells so bad Mommy?” or Andrew’s “pfew” that comes with a shake of the head and a really weird airy sound effect.

I have hope that they’ll catch on soon though. I’m simplifying things which means we’ll be on this broccoli kick for awhile.

The other night my broccoli went on top of cheeseless whole wheat macaroni and cheese.

Which is better, shell macaroni or actual macaroni noodles? I’m all about the whole wheat shells.

Oh and which is better? Getting up to walk across the room to get a blanket from the cabinet or just being lazy and covering up with multiple pillows instead?

I had a little help keeping them in place even.

This happened yesterday.

It totally happened in slow motion too when I was by myself at home and saying “no, no, no” as I watched if fall and spill.

So darn sad. I thought about scooping it up and trying to save some of the powder, but I just couldn’t do it. I almost think it was worse vacuuming it up and making a bigger mess in the process. At least the kitchen smells all nice and fresh like vanilla cupcake. Beavis.

I need to restock some Quest Bars anyway so maybe I need to add a little powder to the order too.

I had prolotherapy treatment yesterday and then got to take the rest of the day easy afterwards.

My sister-in-law requested a picture so I asked my sweet doctor (Dr. Kulik) if I could take a picture of the needle. He even brought me a full one for the photo.

So yeah, that entire needle goes in and gets moved around a bit while the injections are happening. It’s not pleasant and I hold on so darn tight to that table it’s not even funny.

Oh and just in case yo ucan’t really tell how long the needle is from the picture, here’s a little ruler to help out.

And here’s my super white feet and stellar blue Smurf style pants I sported around for my day to have to take things easy.

You’ve gotta dress the part sometimes.

Everything is good on brown rice cakes lately, but I haven’t figured out which of the Sweet Spreads Coconutter flavors is my favorite.

I’ve almost made it through all my samples. It was like once I opened a jar I just had to start opening the others. This one was vanilla cupcake flavor. Mmmm hmm….

I also don’t know which one of the brand new colors of Handful bras are my favorite. I mean I wear them daily and love changing the color with my outfits, but these new ones are just so darn awesome.

Which brings me to the next little tidbit.

I get to give one of these beloved bras away coming up. Oh heck yes. Coming up REALLY soon actually so stay tuned.

But….
