Coco Rocha Takes Over Sass and Bide

World famous model, Coco Rocha, has taken over the Sass and Bide online campaign. Coco Rocha has been named the face of the Australian label’s spring/summer campaign which sees her taking over the brand’s social media for five days from January 28th.

“I genuinely like the brand a lot. I was only recently introduced to them, but I knew that they fit my style. Something I always look for in an outfit is to have a standout piece. I feel Sass & Bide gives you that with these amazing statement pieces – patterned jeans, cleverly designed sweaters and jackets. I promise you that if you wear an outfit with a piece of Sass & Bide, you will start more than a few random conversations with people asking you about it,” Rocha tells of her admiration for the Australian label.

Rocha has been posting photos of her in her favourite Sass and Bide outfits all over Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The 24 year old is no newcomer to the social media scene as she has taken Instagram, Twitter and Google by storm over the past year. Is Rocha leading the pack when it comes to models turning into social media/fashion business moguls in today’s landscape…?

She explains her recent social media success: “For a long time, models had been these mute pretty faces – and I wanted to have a voice. Over time, I’ve grown an audience of about seven million on all my social media platforms, and I work hard to keep them interested. At the end of the day, modelling is advertising and many clients are happy I come with my own built-in audience. Hopefully in all this, social media has added some longevity to an otherwise traditionally very short career. Fashion can be a very fickle lady, especially when it comes to models – fashion likes to turn on its own. In building up a large base of fans who care about me and what I’m doing, I’m hopefully ensuring that brands will continue to want to work with me into the future.”
