Goodbye 2014

I can't believe this is my last outfit post of 2014! It's been such an incredible year and I really have to thank you all so much for your continued support for Style Me Curvy. I'll be doing a full 2014 recap over the next few days so stayed tuned for that.

For today I wanted to feature a skater dress as it's one of my favourite styles. This particular one is from Girls On Film at Littlewoods Ireland which is made from a scuba material. The print reminded me of a fireworks display so I felt is was quite fitting for today!

In terms of fit, its true to size; here I'm wearing a size 16. For fuller busts the scuba material will actually give you that extra stretch and as its coined with this skater style and unusual print this is ideal for you as it won't make you look bigger than you are.

You can wear this with opaques or like here with leather look leggings to give more of an edge to your look. To add an extra hint of cosiness this faux fur snood from Parfois was ideal as it is a sophisticated style and quite possibly the softest snood in the world! :)

Not much accessorizing was needed for so todays look. Instead I opted for a clutch bag with some unusual but subtle detail for some finishing touches.
