Winter Wrap

Today I wanted to show you ladies just some of the sale finds I picked up in the January sales. This wrap coat instantly caught my eye with it's faux fur loveliness! There are a number of similar styles to this still on sale or full priced in store.

With wrap coats they look smart and give more of a 'dressed' look to your wardrobe. Regardless of whether you are a size 6 or a 26. A wrap style will give you a waistline once the belt is in the right area.

For women with wide hips compared to your bust (pear shapes), the oversized lapels instantly balance out your frame. For athletic and diamond shapes, it can be tough to find coats that give you a streamlined shape or a curvy silhouette. This style coat will be ideal for you as the belt will clinch you in at the waistline giving you more of an hourglass shape with the lapels also helping to distract from a wider upper body frame.

This coat would fit up to size 18/20 as it is generous in size. Beyond a size 18/20 size Asos curve have a number of stunning coats at the moment which I can't stop eyeing up.

The only down side I find to wrap style coats is that material belts will become undone easily so just be sure to knot it tight

Post christmas, bold prints and shift styles truly will be your best friend. I've been finding myself slowly drifting back to wearing more black so I thought this purple number would be quite welcomed for readers. This bold print is actually not too harsh to wear as its broken up by a lilac shade making it easy to wear for a lot of skin tones. It nips in just gently at the midriff creating more of a defined waistline which I really liked.

You can stick to minimal accessories if you'd prefer for this kind of style. For more of an evening look I added a 3D necklace which is in certain Oasis stores still in the sale and similar versions in Coast. For shoes, I chose my favourite Carvela heels as the cut out detail gives an edge to any look.
