let it snow

When I decided to book my flight to Utah a few weeks back, I knew I had to take my brand new hot pink coat! While I was there last week, they had unusually low temps, so I was very happy to have it – one of the mornings it was only 1 degree outside!! I found this coat while shopping for Christmas gifts (naturally), but have been twiddling my thumbs waiting for the temps to drop enough in Texas for me to debut it here! This week may be the week I get to wear it here, since we’re going to see a high of 36 and 37 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday in Dallas! While the color is initially what drew me to this coat, the belted waist and dual option neckline sealed the deal. A statement piece that’s also flattering? Yes, please! If you’re into pink but want a lighter shade, try the mid pink or light pink options! So cute for transitioning into spring.

A few other colorful statement coats worth a look this season include this Maison Scotch open-front coat, this long plaid jacket, this modern red coat, and this bright yellow peacoat. A few more subdued color styles include this pale blue Club Monaco coat, this oversized lapel pale pink coat, and this Whistles degrade swing coat. Also wishing I was a size 2 so that I could fit into this pretty pale plaid coat.

PS – I’m super sad the Miu Miu boots I’m wearing here are now sold out. I purchased them a week before Christmas on sale at Neiman’s, and they are AMAZING! They helped keep me warm and looking chic in the winter wonderland that was Utah – I’ll definitely be taking them with me to NYFW next month!
