Smashbox Double Exposure Palette

I will be honest, I don't own many things by Smashbox. It's not until lately that I have shown interest towards the brand, probably thanks to it now being stocked in Boots, I can't help but swatch away every time I walk by. So I am excited to give you a sneak peek of the NEW Double Exposure Palette which launches wary next year. The palette contains 14 shadows which can be used wet or dry thanks to a state of the art coated pigments. The instructions suggest using them with a damp brush for best results. The top row is made up of light shimmery shades whilst the bottom row homes the more intense colours (look at that black!). I swatched these wet as I found the top row doesn't perform as well when dry. Overall I think it's a great palette if you don't own anything similar. I however do wish there were more matte neutral shades but then I guess that's were the Full Exposure Palette delivers. The palette will be sold from 7th January 2015 for £37.
