Dr. Martens Store Opens at Cornmarket, Belfast
Remember ‘The Doc Shop’ in Pottinger’s Entry in Belfast? Well it wasn’t actually a Dr. Martens store! Shock! Horror!
The first standalone Dr. Martens store is now opened in Belfast in the old French Connection spot at Cornmarket and they celebrated with an in-store opening launch party. The Sugahfix gals jumped at the chance to stomp around in our DMs and got a little over excited when there was 50% discount on the night – shop shop shop!
Local band The Groundlings performed live in store and “the Godfather of Punk” himself, Terri Hooley DJing to keep the party buzzing.
Local brewing company Farmageddon served their actually amazingly yummy beer at the party – can’t say I’d be a fan of beer but Farmaggeddon was converted me!
If you love the whole vibe of DMs you’ll love the full collection of accessories and clothing – from fab fluffy socks and super-soft tartan scarves to droolworthy studded bags, printed tees and dresses and really cool knits. We were hugely impressed!
