Spring Beauty Favorites

I must admit, when it comes to makeup I am probably one of the first ones that needs to try out ¨the new item on the block¨ however every purchase I make -in regards to makeup- I must research reviews and for this I go to my favorite source: YouTube. There is nothing better than getting actual feedback about a product before I venture to purchase it and I will tell you why… when I lived in the U.S. I had the priviledge to enjoy a great consumers service. Item that I bought and did not work out well on my skin, item I knew I could return for a full refund (Happy Customer - Returning Customer) but this is not the case in Europe, once you buy cosmetics you pretty much risk loosing your money and might also end up stashing away a product you will never use again due to a bad skin reaction. So, since I have extremely sensitive skin I have learn this little trick of researching prior to buying. For some this process might be a waist of time but for me is very useful and let´s admit, nobody wants to spend €45 on luxury makeup just to find out after the first use that it gives you the worst rash and on top of it all your money has very well gone down the drain. So, take note girls -research before buying!
Having said that, I recently purchase (and thanks to my sister´s nagging) CHANEL Perfection Lumiere, with a mat finish (perfect for those with oily/combination skin) now, it is a great foundation and I recommend it but it did not impress me as I thought it would. I would compare it with L´OREAL True Match *at least for me, the finish is almost the same and for a fraction of the price. In other words (a dupe).

For this Spring I am loving the almost au naturel look, CHANEL runway inspiration. Just a light/medium coverage foundation, lipgloss, a sweet scent and basic accessories.
