4 Stars! Great addition to this addictive series!
I was a little confused in the beginning and things got slightly muddled in the middle, but overall...a great read!
While the book is filled with sexual tension, it's not bogged down with sex scenes, there is definitely some spice, but the focus remains on the characters and their dangerous dilemma. I understood why Riley/Erica reacted the way she did, but there were times she got on my nerves, but man oh man, she really came through in the end!! Slate...scrumptious...what a guy...perfect in every way! Dave/Leo ended up shocking the sh*t out of me. This is a man you want to have your back! I couldn't understand his initial reaction to a brutal situation in the beginning, but by the end of the book, you know why he had to stand down. He made a decision that would haunt him forever, but saved lives! My heart hurt for him.
Wow...what an ending! Did not see that coming AT ALL! I really enjoy the way this author tells a story.
The epilogue was perfect! Broken Course here I come!
