let's look at decembers goals...
// re-prioritize my perspective. (focus on what is important vs what isn't)
i think i accomplished this. i really wanted to make sure i understood the reason for the season, as well as not getting caught up in the hoop-la of it all.
// have a traditional Christmas night (bake cookies, have a fire, watch a movie, enjoy the lights)
man. i really, really wanted this to happen. but between my brother being home, work, and other commitments i didn't really make this a priority. would it be wrong to do this in January? hahaha
// try two new recipes.
woohoo! i feel like this one is always the easiest. i've found that i really do like to cook and try out new things...so why NOT test out some recipes! i tried this
sweet potato crusted goat cheese and spinach quiche and it was a hit...so incredibly delicious! i made this
pull apart pizza bread that was so filling - yay comfort food (super easy for a party too!), for a sweet snack i made these
banana peanut butter chocolate things...yerm yermmmm.
// two diy projects.
hehe. yeah no, this totally didn't happen. i WANTED it to...and i guess to a degree it did because i did do some christmas projects.
// make time for Jesus.
i've been working through a personal
bible study lately and it has been peeling scales off of my eyelids, healing some wounds, and putting things into perspective. for that i am thankful.
