I was at the Dollar Tree recently and came across some medium-sized pumpkins. I snatched up several, knowing they'd made a fun project for my little guy. So, we came up with some not-so-scary renditions of some halloween classics.
These were super easy to do with a 4-year-old. We spent one evening painting them. I let him do the first coat and I did a second coat. We let them dry completely over night. Then we pulled out some felt, pipe cleaners and googley eyes (his favorite).
I cut out the felt and hot glued stuff when necessary but I let him poke in the pipe cleaners and draw on the mouths. He did a great job and we had a lot of fun!
Jack the Pumpkin King (his all-time fave)
