On the weeks that I meal plan, we eat SO. MUCH. BETTER. Not only in variety, but quality and according to our food budget as well. I don’t waste our groceries. We have leftovers for lunches. Jemma gets to spend time with me in the kitchen. I utilize my fave kitchen gadgets (the slow cooker!). And and and … it’s just a very good thing for everyone involved.
Which leads me to wonder … why don’t I meal plan consistently every week?
I have no answer. None what so ever. And since I’m in a season of grace, I’m just going to leave the idea of meal planning by saying that “it’s great when I do, it stinks when I don’t, and hopefully I’ll get around to it more often than not” :)

MONDAY — Creamy Pesto Pasta and Caesar Salad
