The must-haves

So these three brushes have been with me for 12 years. It seems incredible, right? Well, I bought them with one of my firts paychecks. After a terrible night in a lonely office frantically translating a report that had to be ready in the morning I got a juicy paycheck that didn’t last long. On my way back home I headed to a famous department store and bought presents for my mum and my grandparents. Then, with the money I got left, I went to the MAC counter and bought two absolutely flashy eyeshadows, individual eye lashes (some of them golden!) and these three brushes.

Of course, those eyeshadows (a pistachio green and a deep pink) are not in my vanity anymore and I haven’t used the individual eye lashes for a very long time but I have to admit they were a hit in my days at Uni. However, these three brushes are still my absolute must-haves when it comes to beauty. After 12 years of work, some travels in uncomfortable makeup bags, three moves and lots of adventures, they still are in the best shape. To be honest, I don’t wash them as much as I should… but there they are: as soft, precise and helpful as the first day. The numbers are almost erased but I’ve been browsing the MAC website and I think I’ve found them: number 219 that I use for the crease, number 266 that I use to apply shadow as eye liner and number 239 for practically everything else. With them you don’t have to worry about the quality of the eyeshadow, you will sure make the most of it. They are not cheap, though. But I can understand the price tag, for the quality is extremely good. 12 years and still counting! So before spend your money in that beautiful eyeshadow palette, think if you have the right tools to apply it. And if you don’t, run to the next MAC counter and get these three as son as posible!
