So week two of my journey. So far it's all been good. A few cravings for diet coke, especially with the insane heat we had having in Launceston. But I haven't caved once!
This weeks loss:
To be honest I'm not sure what I've lost. Because of all this heat, the past day or so my body has decided that it wants to hold as much water in it as possible. So hopefully once it cools down the water will go! But even with the fluid retention I've still lost weight, so I'm happy with my progress so far!
1.6kgs // 3.5 Lbs weight loss. And I've lost a total of 2.5 inches from my body!
Thats a total of 3.1 kilos // 6.8 Lbs that I've lost so far! I'm so happy and proud of my self!
This weeks food:

Okay, so for me I've been sticking to 1400 calories a day. A few people have in-boxed me to say "oh that's not enough" - what you need to understand is that, I was only eating ONE MEAL A DAY. So I was only eating about 500 - 600 calories to begin with, plus any calories from whatever I was drinking.
So I've added between 800 and 900 calories to my diet a day. And it's been super hard to eat that amount of food. Diet, is 80% of the fight. And you have to find what works for you. Lots of people like a low fat dat, or a high protein diet. I calorie count, and have a fair amount of carbs during the week, but it's working for my body. It's never felt better and the scale is going down as well as my measurements. I think once your body feels like its working properly, like mine does now, you've found the right combination of everything it needs! I am doing my best to get my calorie intake higher, but right now I'm struggling to eat 1400! lol
But I've mostly been having some complex carbs in the morning, about an hour before I exercise, and even with working out I don't get hungry until lunch time. Then lunch is usually a salad with some lean grilled chicken. And dinner is usually some form of deliciousness. If want to see what I'm eating follow me in Instagram, @toomanysequins for food updates.
I've also had ridiculous amounts of water. Especially with the heat (sweat) and working out (ugh, more sweat), I've needed to replenish my body. But, as I said last week, I think the water has made the biggest difference to me.
This week exercise:
I haven't missed a day of exercise. I've been mixing it up too, so I don't get bored. Going for a hike one day a week with The Man, cardio and weights in the gym, aqua aerobics and this weekend I did Body Balance at the gym, which was so much more intense that I though it was going to be, and I discovered I have really bad balance! So I'm going to keep going, if only to fix that!
And I've been aiming for at least 45 mins, but I've been doing above that, so I'm super happy with this weeks efforts!
How are you all going?
