Paper star garland tutorial

I love my new star 3D punch and after making the star cake toppers using it I decided to make a paper star garland. A while back I had made a paper butterfly chandelier for Making magazine where I stitched a whole bunch of paper butterflies together, so I thought I would use the same process and stitch the paper stars together using my sewing machine. I loved how my paper star garland turned out and used it to adorn my dessert table...

It is worth noting that you will need to change your needle once you have finished stitching the paper as inevitabley the paper will blunt the needle and may not work well with fabrics afterwards.
