Budget Friendly Boy Bedroom Makeover:: The Before
We are back today with another video and before shots from the temporary house. Everything is coming together nicely so we are really excited to show you the befores so we can start revealing all the final results!
Today we are diving into the budget friendly boy bedroom, which, as you can see from the photo and video, is very dark. I apologize in advance for how dark the video is. We knew the room was dark but had no idea it was THIS dark! With only one window and very little natural light, this room was miserably dark when we first got started. I hated painting over the blue walls, which were quite pretty, but this room needed to be lightened and brightened, which is just what a lighter shade on the walls is going to do! I almost didn’t post this video because of the lighting, but when you guys see the result, I am convinced that you are going to love it and will forgive me for it!
Besides the color on the walls, we wanted to bring in a larger piece between the beds, update the bedding, artwork, and, as you can see from the video, pull down the curtains that were blocking that precious natural light!
