Schedule

With such a big goal of posting everyday, it is almost imperative to have a blogging schedule.

To make life easier I also created some themes for everyday of the week.

I’ll share it tomorrow and start the schedule on Monday January 5th!

Today I want to share a few of my favorite pictures.

By this time this year in Spain, I had already taken hundreds of photos of my daily life.

But I’ve been slacking in Botswana.

I need more inspiration I guess.

Anyway check out the pictures below and let me know what you think!

So wait, can I cross here?

This cross walk confused me when I first saw the little guy.

Are you telling me that only men dressed in spiffy clothes and proper hats can cross here? Or am I just over thinking it? What do you think? ^_^

Moments of happiness!

The picture on the left was taken on the Sua Pan a.k.a salt pan. It’s a vast expansion of land that contains really salty water. Now during the rainy season the pans are covered in water. I’ll do a proper post on the area. I just need to get back out there to take some more photos. What you see are my feet standing in pure foamy salt that washes ashore.

The picture on the top right was taken at a Braai (BBQ). It was so much fun! Actually the event was a retirement party for a lady I am really going to miss. On the grill was “Bogobe” which is a porridge made out of Sorghum. In South Africa it is known as “Pap”. There is another variety also made out of maize meal. It is similar to making “Cornmeal Porridge” in Jamaican culture, which is primarily eaten for breakfast. I am working on an in-depth post on food in Botswana. But you guys know how I feel about pictures, haha. They have to be amazing! But it’s coming.

The last picture, bottom right, was taken in Francistown (2nd largest city in Botswana). Now it is pretty much impossible for me to pass beautiful flowers without trying to smell them and then taking a picture. LOOK AT THEM! I don’t even know what they are called but they were so vibrant and commanding, they screamed out for a photo memory! This is in front of my favorite cafe there named “Merrilcious” (or something like that). If you watched this

video, it was filmed there

That’s it for now! Happy first Saturday of 2015 that you will never experience again…hahaha

See you tomorrow!
