I don’t know about you but I am obsessed with American Tv. Whether its the Winchester brothers in Supernatural, scandal in Game of Thrones or pre-Psycho shenanigans in Bates Motel. I have an unending thirst for US TV shows. I barely watch anything not made in the states.

It has always been frustrating waiting for my fave shows to air over here. Watch US TV in the UK. In this age of social media waiting can mean you know what will happen before you watch it. Recently I stumbled across a solution. Now I can watch my fave shows live at the same time as the states. Meet USTVNow. This fab site allows you to watch USTV channels via your own tv. There are two options for accessing USTVNow – via a roku box or via SmartTV.

To set up on Roku

Connect your Roku box to your TV and setup a wired or wireless Internet connection according to the accompanying instructions
USTVNOW has to be added as private channel on your Roku player since it is not listed in the Roku Channel Store. In order to do this go to your Roku account page available herehttps://owner.roku.com/add/ustvnow, enter “ustvnow” as the linking code and click on “add channel”
On the Roku: Refresh your channels by entering the Roku channel store, and then going back to the top level menu. You should now be able to see the the USTVNOW logo among your “Channels”
On the Roku: Select the USTVNOW channel and press “OK” on your remote control and the select “continue” to proceed past the introduction to the registration screen
On your computer go to http://www.ustvnow.com/roku and enter the “CODE” you see on the registration screen together with your USTVNOW account log in and password and click on “link”
On the Roku: Select continue and press “OK” on the Roku, your USTVNOW service has now been linked to your Roku player

To Setup on Smart TV

Open the internet browser of your smart TV.
Type in the following url http://www.ustvnow.com/gtv
Click on the ‘human” icon ( from top to bottom) on the left
Use your credentials to login

USTVNow is fab it is such an easy way to watch US TV in the UK. It is free for up to 6 channels with US cable channels costing extra.
