Cookbook Review – Sugar-Free Mom

There’s a new cookbook in town!

‘sugar-free mom – naturally sweet and sugar-free recipes for the whole family’ by Brenda Bennett.

When this cookbook review opportunity was offered to me it was thrilling. Sugar-free Mom has always been one of my favorite blogs and now I can actually physically flip through this solid work of love. I received a .pdf file of the cookbook for perusing but now I have the book in my hands and – it is getting dirty.

So far, I have made a couple of these recipes and the directions are very easy to follow. True, not all of the recipes are vegan but many are and all are sugar-free. The photos below are a few of the vegan recipes between the covers. I am fortunate and do not have any health issues but, it is a fact, that sugar is a naughty little culprit. We should all do with less sugar. Brenda has become a pro at creating recipes that have no refined sugars and tests them until they are perfect. What I am getting at is … have no fear.

The book is a good sturdy size that you can hang onto and the instructions are easy to read. There is a color photo on every page so you are definitely eating with your eyes first. A bonus is that there are also many grain-free, low carb and diebetic friendly recipes. I can’t wait to try the homemade Enchilada Sauce and the very inventive Chocolate Mousse.

Follow the chapters from Breakfast through Lunch to Dinners and of course into Desserts to find over 100 recipes.

Sugar-free Mom’s new cookbook is selling like crazy through many outlets such as Barnes and Nobles, Books a Million and other bookstores. Online at Amazon too! Treat yourself to this wonderful book and start living a healthier life.
