Cookie Day 2013

Saturday was our traditional kick off for the holiday season. My mom started cookie day in 2002, inviting little kids from our family and friends to take part in cookie and gingerbread house decorating. Everyone looks forward to cookie day every year, it is lots of fun. We are transitioning now, one of my cousins couldn't make it this year since she is away at college but we have little ones like Violet and my nephew taking part now.

Nana's rule is no Mom can say no to candy, everyone is to have fun. As you can see Violet had a lot of fun.

She managed to get frosting on her earrings and the back of her hair.
Quite possibly the best cookie day photo ever, mouth full of frosting and candy.

I adore this picture from earlier in the day. Nana has an elf for her house (he will be staying there, I don't have time for that lol) and she read the story to V and they decided to name him Chuck.

And of course the mandatory sugar high photos.

Love my silly girl! Next up, three more family holiday parties, zoo lights, Santa, photos and much more. Bring it December!
