Introducing Monthly Movie/Craft Nights!

As I work on re-focusing/re-working my blog, this is one of the things I’m most excited about. Since I started blogging 7-ish years ago (!!) I’ve met so many cool people. I often wish I could just hang out and watch movies with all of you guys, but that would be impractical I guess. So I thought it would be fun to organize a virtual movie night instead. And for all you fellow crafty folks, I’ll also share a craft tutorial that goes with each movie.

The craft nights will take place the last Sunday of every month at around 8pm EST. We’ll have a movie selected beforehand and I’ll share the craft tutorial a few days before that too so we can all be prepared with supplies and stuff. Then we’ll have a hashtag for each movie night so we can “hang out” and share our progress on Twitter and Instagram. (If you want to just watch the movie or just do the craft project, that’s fine too!) I’ve also created a Facebook group where we can chat, and I’ll share info and get feedback about upcoming projects there too. So join!

So the first movie/craft night will take place next Sunday, January 25 at 8pm. We’ll be watching Mean Girls, because why not? We’ll also be making our own Burn Book scrapbooks like the one above (but let’s fill them with nice things about our girlfriends instead). If you’re interested, mark the day on your calendar, join the FB group, and memorize that Kevin G. rap (as if you haven’t already…) because this is going to be fun!!
